Our outpatient office setting encourages collaboration among our therapy team, where you can share insights and strategies with peers, enhancing the quality of care that clients receive. The role may require some evening and weekend hours, ensuring we accommodate clients' schedules effectively.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Mind Marvel Institute, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify each clientโ€™s mental health challenges and strengths, drawing upon their unique life experiences.
  • Providing individualized, family, and group therapy sessions rooted in evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
  • Developing tailored treatment plans with clearly defined goals and interventions based on thorough client assessments.
  • Engaging in regular multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Offering crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed, along with creating safety plans to address immediate client needs.
  • Leading supportive group therapy sessions, psychoeducational classes, and support groups to foster a sense of community among clients.
  • Maintaining accurate, timely documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring a meticulous record of client progress and treatment plans.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will be diverse and may include individuals dealing with a range of mental health issues, couples working through relationship challenges, and families seeking support in navigating interpersonal dynamics. Our commitment to cultural competency means you will work with clients from all backgrounds, ensuring that therapies are sensitive to their unique needs and experiences.

Qualifications

  • Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Texas.
  • Proficient knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and modalities.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is preferred, we are dedicated to supporting therapists at all stages of their careers. Experience working with a diverse client population will be considered an advantage!

Compensation and Benefits

At Mind Marvel Institute, we believe in recognizing the expertise and commitment of our staff, offering a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance. Additionally, we provide an attractive benefits package that includes:

  • Comprehensive health insurance options, covering medical, dental, and vision care.

  • Generous paid time off, including vacation, personal days, and holidays, to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
  • Professional development opportunities through continuing education and training programs.
  • Liability insurance coverage to protect your professional practice.
