As a manager, you will work alongside Oliver Wyman's industry leaders and other experienced consultants and will be expected to contribute to a broad range of client projects. You will achieve significant interaction and visibility with Oliver Wyman's clients, which include top tier insurance companies, reinsurance companies, investment banks, law firms, state regulators, and private equity firms.
Potential projects and responsibilities may include:
  • Thought leadership, including oversight and/or creation of intellectual capital
  • Creation and analysis of financial projections
  • Insurance mergers & acquisitions
  • Capital markets transactions support
  • Life and annuity product development and financial reporting
  • Client and industry presentations, surveys, case studies
  • Work in partnership with our management consulting and strategy practice
  • Operating with a high degree of personal responsibility and accountability for the maintenance of a portfolio of clients
  • Pricing assumption and model methodology review, including benchmarking to applicable industry and peer experience
  • Development and maintenance of intellectual capital
  • Participate in client sales meetings

Skills and Attributes
  • FSA or near, or equivalent actuarial credentials with five to ten years of professional experience
  • Track record of rapid learning, high performance, and professional growth
  • Proficiency of financial modeling systems
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

The applicable base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $170,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, educations, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for meaningful performance-based incentives.
