What is Marriott training?

Marriott Training refers to the comprehensive learning and development programs offered by Marriott International to its employees. These programs are designed to help staff acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional guest experiences and to advance in their hospitality careers. Training includes a mix of online modules, in-person workshops, and on-the-job learning, covering topics such as customer service, brand standards, safety, and leadership. The goal is to ensure all team members are well-equipped to uphold Marriott's service standards across its global properties.

How does Marriott training support new employee onboarding and ongoing professional development?

The Marriott Training role plays a key part in welcoming new hires by designing and delivering onboarding programs that cover company standards, operational procedures, and guest service expectations. In addition to initial training, this role collaborates with department managers to identify ongoing development needs and organizes workshops, e-learning modules, and coaching sessions. Trainers often work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and quality across locations, and they track progress to help employees advance their careers within Marriott. This position offers opportunities to influence the workplace culture and support colleagues' growth in a dynamic, hospitality-focused environment.

These skills and qualifications ensure effective knowledge transfer, uphold Marriott’s service standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
