Job Description:

We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to help expand hotel revenue opportunities by developing strong business relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and increasing overall hotel sales performance. The Business Development Manager's responsibilities include generating corporate and group business, maintaining client relationships, coordinating with hotel departments, promoting Marriott brand standards, and achieving revenue goals.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
  1. Developing and maintaining relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and local businesses.
  2. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to increase hotel occupancy and revenue.
  3. Conducting outside sales calls, networking events, client presentations, and hotel site tours.
  4. Coordinating with Operations, Front Office, Catering, and Sales teams to ensure excellent guest and client experiences.
  5. Preparing proposals, contracts, rate agreements, and sales reports.
  6. Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and local business opportunities.
  7. Assisting in the development and execution of hotel sales and marketing strategies.
  8. Managing and growing existing accounts while actively soliciting new business.
  9. Promoting Marriott programs, brand standards, and loyalty initiatives.
  10. Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
  11. Maintaining accurate client records, sales pipelines, and account activities.
  12. Ensuring adherence to Marriott policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Business Development Manager Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  2. 2 or more years of hotel sales, hospitality, or business development experience preferred.
