The Small Business Marketing (SBM) team is responsible for driving growth across the Small Business portfolio by acquiring new customers and deepening relationships with existing ones across our Card, Business Line of Credit, and Banking products. The organization is comprised of the Prospect, Customer Growth, Customer Activation, Customer Engagement, and Co-brand Marketing teams, working together to deliver innovative marketing strategies and exceptional customer experiences.

The Sr. Analyst, Marriott Co-Brand Acquisition Marketing will report to the Sr. Manager, Marriott Co-Brand Marketing, to implement digital marketing strategies to drive revenue and acquisition growth for the Marriott Small Business Co-Brand Card

  • Previous experience in marketing, digital, product, or function with transferable skillset
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, operate autonomously, and prioritize effectively
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable in a cross-functional environment with many stakeholders and able to influence internal and external partners
  • Knowledge of marketing execution processes at American Express
  • Strong analytical skill with ability to navigate different reporting systems to pull data, interpret data, and translate into cohesive insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with external partners or in a partnerships role
  • Understanding of acquisition channels and interest in UX and targeting capabilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to acquire new accounts through Marriott channels, aligned with partner, product and channel priorities
  • Monitor, report and analyze channel performance. Own weekly channel reporting, campaign analyses, and a monthly portfolio performance overview, sharing ongoing insights with partner & other internal stakeholders
  • Support innovation and new digital capabilities to increase Small Business share of voice across Marriott channels
  • Collaborate closely with internal partners on targeting to identify and address opportunities to support and grow Small Business portfolio
  • Work in lockstep with Consumer counterparts to ensure Small Business has a representative in all conversations & initiatives
  • Ideate digital test & learn curriculum, create implementation strategy, organize and track results
  • Partner with Marketing Operations Analysts and other internal stakeholders to execute marketing campaigns
  • Foster strong relationships with our partners and internal teams including Marketing, Product, Consumer, Legal, Compliance, Tech, Analytics, and Marketing Operations
  • Be the main liaison between Amex prop teams & Marriott
