Position Overview

The Busser plays a key support role within our service team, ensuring an elevated guest experience through impeccable table maintenance, efficient service flow, and a polished dining environment. This position assists servers, contributes to warm and unobtrusive service, and represents the Mott 32 hospitality philosophy at every step.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide seamless support to servers and leadership while maintaining a refined, unobtrusive approach to service

  • Reset and prepare tables according to Mott 32 standards, including place settings, glassware, and service steps

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and luxurious dining space at all times

  • Anticipate guest and team needs—water refills, clearing plates, marking silverware, offering service touches without request

  • Assist with delivery of food and beverage items, ensuring accuracy and proper presentation

  • Uphold service timing standards and coordinate with kitchen and service teams

  • Support overall floor operations including polishing glassware, china, and silver

  • Maintain a strong understanding of menu items, ingredients, and dietary considerations

  • Assist in guest approach through professional body language, awareness, and confident communication

  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies in accordance with health regulations
