Job description

Position Summary:
TCL North America is seeking a highly accountable, results-driven E-Commerce & Marketplace Manager to own the day-to-day execution and performance of the company's e-commerce channels, including Amazon and key retail partner platforms. This role will translate channel strategies into actionable plans and drive initiatives through completion across digital merchandising, marketplace operations, retail media, promotions, and channel performance. The position will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Creative, Analytics, and external retail partners to ensure priorities are clearly defined, executed on time, and aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on owner who combines strategic thinking with strong execution and follow-through. This person should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, identifying issues and opportunities, taking action with limited direction, and providing leadership with clear, timely visibility into performance, project status, risks, and next steps. Success in this role requires a strong sense of accountability and the ability to drive initiatives from strategy through execution while delivering measurable business results.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
  • E-Commerce & Marketplace Growth
    • Own day-to-day performance and execution across Amazon and key e-commerce retail channels, with accountability for driving growth, conversion, visibility, and revenue.
    • Develop channel strategies and translate them into clear, actionable plans with defined priorities, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
    • Lead initiatives from planning through execution, proactively managing dependencies and resolving issues to ensure commitments are delivered on time.
    • Continuously assess channel performance, identify opportunities and risks, and take action to improve results.
    • Maintain a current view of business priorities, channel activities, and performance so leadership has clear visibility into progress, issues, and next steps.
  • Digital Commerce & Merchandising
    • Own the digital shelf across key retail platforms, ensuring products are accurately represented, competitively positioned, and optimized for conversion.
    • Oversee product content, enhanced content, imagery, rich media, promotions, and other digital merchandising initiatives.
    • Partner with Creative, Brand, Product Marketing, Sales, and external agencies to move projects from concept to completion.
    • Establish clear briefs, deadlines, and quality expectations and actively manage execution through completion.
    • Conduct ongoing audits of the digital shelf and proactively address gaps in content, availability, pricing, discoverability, and brand presentation.
  • Amazon & Retail Media
    • Own Amazon channel execution, including Seller/Vendor Central, Brand Store, product detail pages, promotions, advertising, and marketplace performance.
    • Develop and optimize Amazon advertising and retail media programs based on business objectives, performance data, and return on investment.
    • Monitor sales, traffic, conversion, Buy Box, inventory, pricing, reviews, advertising performance, and other key indicators.
    • Quickly identify performance issues and develop recommendations and action plans to address them.
    • Work directly with Amazon and retail media partners to secure opportunities, resolve issues, and improve channel performance.
  • Performance Management & Reporting
    • Establish and maintain real-time reporting on key e-commerce KPIs, initiatives, promotional activity, and channel health.
    • Provide regular visibility into what has been completed, what is in progress, what is at risk, and what requires action.
    • Use data to identify trends, diagnose performance issues, and recommend specific actions rather than simply reporting results.
    • Maintain accurate dashboards and reporting that enable leadership to quickly understand channel performance and business priorities.
    • Ensure commitments and deliverables are tracked through completion and communicate changes or risks proactively.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Act as the central owner for e-commerce initiatives, coordinating internal teams and external partners to ensure timely execution.
    • Establish clear ownership, timelines, and deliverables across cross-functional projects.
    • Follow up proactively with stakeholders and partners to remove roadblocks and maintain momentum.
    • Escalate material risks early and arrive with recommended solutions and a clear path forward.
    • Build strong relationships with retailer partners and internal stakeholders while maintaining accountability for results.

These duties are directly related to essential operations, safety, trust, and compliance obligations within our organization. Please note that job duties may evolve based on business needs and additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary to maintain operational efficiency and security.
