Job description

Joining Collibra's Brand and Creative Marketing team
Collibra's Senior Video Manager will own and elevate how we tell our story through video, setting strategy, driving innovation, and producing content that moves prospects, engages customers, and supports revenue growth. As a senior member of the Brand and Creative Marketing team, you'll bring deep expertise across the full video lifecycle, from concept and production to distribution and performance. You have a sharp instinct for what makes media land, and you know how to translate that into content that educates, converts, and builds brand equity. You'll set the creative direction for video, own the innovation roadmap, and raise the bar for the team through hands-on mentorship. This is a role for someone who leads with vision but isn't afraid to get into the details. You'll report to the Senior Manager of Brand and Creative Marketing and work closely with Design and Social & PR, while partnering cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Digital, Growth Marketing, Events, and Social Media, as well as external agencies and vendors, to ensure video is integrated, intentional, and driving real business value strategies and communicate how video content can provide the most value to the business.
This is a hybrid role based in our Raleigh office. Our hybrid model means you'll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together and keep making progress as a team.

The Senior Video Manager at Collibra is responsible for
  • Leading the creative video strategy and execution of all video production that supports marketing and promotions, leveraging market insights to build relevant, compelling, and scalable video across diverse marketing initiatives that drive awareness, revenue growth, and brand positioning
  • Owning the innovation roadmap for video content development and distribution, and leading continuous process improvements by identifying new methods, tools, and technologies
  • Partnering with leaders and key cross-functional stakeholders to develop integrated strategies and plans, ensuring video content stays aligned with related initiatives, project goals, and brand standards
  • Directing and coordinating internal and third-party production teams across video/film production, editing, and recording, mentoring less experienced team members, and anticipating workload impacts to help the team adjust focus and prioritize
  • Implementing best practices for asset management to ensure preservation and governance of project files and associated media
You have
  • 10+ years of relevant professional video experience with high proficiency in all aspects of video creation and demonstrated awareness of emerging technology, media, and digital platforms
  • Experience leading and developing deliverables for multi-channel campaigns, from web videos to tradeshow booth monitors, preferably in the B2B tech industry
  • Expert knowledge of video production equipment, video artistic styles, techniques, methodologies, effects, file structures, web formats, and best video compression practices for online distribution
  • Experience mentoring or guiding other creatives, and coordinating internal teams and third-party vendors/agencies to deliver on shared objectives
  • A digital portfolio demonstrating innovative, compelling video work and broad experience in advertising, brand, and multi-channel campaigns (link to portfolio is required)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot) to solve real-world business challenges, drive measurable outcomes, or streamline workflows.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
You are
  • A self-starter and a leader, capable of autonomously working through ambiguity, making decisions for the brand, and determining a way forward when needed
  • A strong communicator with the ability to comfortably and professionally interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization to keep all projects on track and communicate project status with requesters, stakeholders, your manager, and your team
  • Customer-focused, applying empathy and design thinking principles to optimize customer experiences and improve conversion with data-driven decisions
  • Always learning; seeking out industry trends, best practices, and staying aware of the competition's marketing efforts to keep our video content fresh and competitive in the B2B tech space
  • Highly collaborative and flexible team player who operates well in a fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple channels, tools, and initiatives while keeping performance as the main priority
Measures of success
  • Within your first month, you will learn about Collibra, our brand, the customer experience, the tools, systems, and processes within the Marketing team, and be introduced to the right people while taking full ownership of the video process and begin contributing, including a full understanding and management of the video intake process in Asana
  • Within your third month, you will have improved processes, led creative video direction, owned the video strategy and innovation roadmap, contributed to evolving the existing plan, executed the strategy, and ensured all channels and team members are working towards the same vision.
