Job description

The School Outreach and Marketing Manager will lead AMER-based marketing strategy for early career talent, establishing dedicated marketing leadership to maximize school penetration across the region.
Reporting to the Global Leader of University Marketing and Campus Engagement, who leads a global team of marketing professionals, this individual contributor position will drive strategic school outreach marketing initiatives and channel optimization, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies. The role will lead campaign development and brand governance whilst supporting priority school engagement and strategic hiring initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
AMER Marketing Strategy & Execution
• Lead comprehensive recruitment marketing strategy for the AMER region that drives inquiry generation, application quality, and contributes to hiring outcomes. • Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with student segments across targeted universities and institutions. • Position Amazon as employer of choice in emerging technology fields including Generative AI and Robotics through compelling storytelling and strategic channel optimization. • Develop metrics and analytics frameworks measuring marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI.
AMER School Engagement & Partnership Activation
• Dive deep into school relationships across AMER, developing customized marketing strategies that align with each university's unique culture and student demographics. • Collaborate with direct team members focusing on school engagement programming, events, advertising and more to translate school engagement strategies into effective marketing campaigns and communications that amplify university partnerships. • Partner with University Relations Leads (URLs) to create targeted marketing initiatives and support that strengthens key university relationships and drives deeper engagement. • Support strategic school initiatives and programs like Campus Brand Ambassador and Executive School Captain to amplify student and faculty influence.
Brand Excellence
• Translate Amazon's global Student Brand Promise into compelling narratives that highlight Amazon's unmatched scale and vast portfolio of businesses, giving students the freedom to explore countless new ideas, disciplines and domains. • Design and influence innovative experiences and activation that positions Amazon as a place where students move their skills off campus to build products or services people actually use, shaping the way we live, shop, and connect every day. • Ensure brand consistency across all AMER campus engagement channels while adapting global messaging frameworks for regional relevance.

This role requires ability to work across multiple time zones, including AMER, EMEA, APJC, and LATAM which may result in starting your day earlier or ending your working day later on a regular occurrence to partner with the global team.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
