Theย Business Analyticsย teamย isย pivotal in the delivery of modern agency services.ย We are tightly integrated with planning and investment teams to deliver on and exceed our clients'ย business goals.ย 

Responsibilitiesย 

External facing responsibilities:ย 

  • Set the vision,ย strategyย and roadmap to deliverย bleeding-edgeย marketing sciences solutionsย onย yourย portfolio of clients.ย 
  • Defining and executing the data strategy:ย  Uncoverย data needs/opportunities and developย aย practicalย roadmap to get maximum value from 1st, 2ndย and 3rdย party data through integration and augmentation.ย 
  • Develop relationships with clients by providingย strategic advisoryย on how data and analytics can helpย unlockย strategicย opportunities.ย 
  • Encourage creative use of dataย to solve client's business challenges and support client's growth, in close alignment with Planning and Investment teams.ย 
  • Provideย thought leadership around analytics, research, measurement, and ad-technology concepts / methods / tools.ย 
  • Developย best in classย audienceย solutions, in collaboration with Planning and Investment teams.ย 
  • Become a trusted advisor toย client leads and seniorย clientsย and consult on audience strategy, measurement, and advanced analytics.ย 
  • Partnerย with the Planning and Investment teams on annual budget setting, media planย developmentย and ongoing budget / plan optimization.ย 
  • Share POVsย regardingย industry changes in the data and analytics spaceย (future of measurement,ย newย dataย solutions like clean rooms, attentionย measurement,ย etc.).ย 
  • Investigateย the impact of new data sources and technologies on the future of marketing and the vertical our brands areย operating.ย 
  • Lead and mentor direct reports: Continually assess capabilities, provide a roadmap for career growth and institute goals toย buildย and expand skills.ย 

Internal facing responsibilities:ย 

  • Provide methodological support, coaching,ย trainingย and advice toย your direct reports and to the broader teams.ย 
  • Recruitย new talent.ย 
  • Lead the development of playbooksย for audience and measurement activities to help standardize the delivery of high-quality marketing sciences services across the agency.ย 
  • Build the pipeline andย be responsible forย the revenue goals ofย Marketing Sciences.ย 
  • Actively help to develop and growย Marketing Sciencesย offeringsย by contributing toย POVs and exchanging knowledge with colleaguesย atย Annalectย and in the broader OMG network.ย 
  • Keep in front of industryย trends and developments by conducting research, engaging inย trainingย and attending industry events.ย 

Required Skillsย 

  • Industry Knowledge in marketingย analyticsย and dataย (1stย and 3rdย party data solutions, data lakes, data clean rooms, aggregated and user level data)ย 
  • Experience inย integratedย marketing related to media and/or customer journey development, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, ROIย development.ย ย ย 
  • Expertiseย inย audience-based marketing and data-driven advertisingย 
  • Solution development: analytic skills, critical thinking and clarifying strategic & operational issues as relates to dataย and analytics.ย ย Problem-solving skills to drive issues to resolution.ย 
  • Proven leadership ability and strong, impactful client relationship experienceย 
  • Stellar communication and presentation skills: we need someone who is articulate,ย engagingย and straightforward -ย and, above all, canย effectively and convincingly translate unstructured businessย solutionsย into innovative customer marketing programsย 
  • Ability to train and coach colleagues for growth: being organized and detail oriented, prioritizing work, business writing & presenting, conducting analysis, and project management (scope, budgeting, timing)ย 
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situationsย 
  • Passionate about driving changeย by adopting emerging technologies in the advertising spaceย 

Education and Experienceย 

  • A university degreeย andย 13+ย years ofย data and analyticsย experience in advertising, management consulting,ย marketingย orย digitalย consultingย 
  • Knowledge of agency-side media campaign planning and execution process is desirable, but notย requiredย
