Job Description
Provides strategic direction for product marketing programs including providing tactical direction for product marketing strategies, tactics, communications and tools including the development of marketing programs. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of product marketing strategies to drive measurable business results. Partners with internal and external partners to ensure execution of strategies or initiatives. Develop key messaging and positioning for products. Provide strategic direction for competitive intelligence activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the product marketing program and strategy, including product messaging and positioning or products; communication plan and implementation plan that is consistent with Company strategy. Coordinate with Company-wide partners to ensure one integrated strategy, plan and process for program implementation. Lead the competitive intelligence function.
  • Provide tactical direction and support for program implementation. Write product positioning and marketing collateral for products. Drive execution of projects on time, with excellence in quality, within budget and on brand. Build and manage relationships with internal or external business partners (wholesalers) to drive marketing programs.
  • Lead team to develop, manage and continually improve program content, requirements and process. Develop metrics and monitor results of all programs or initiatives and provide recommendations for ongoing improvements.
  • Provide effective leadership to direct reports incorporating performance management practices through individual performance plans, periodic reviews and feedback sessions, coaching and development.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years' relevant experience
  • Series 7 or ability to obtain within 120 days

Preferred Qualifications
  • Five or more years insurance industry experience in sales or marketing role
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with or lead across the organization and at all levels to drive results
  • Proven people leadership skills
  • Highly effective communication skills as well as writing /editorial skills
  • Ability to lead, influence, communicate and interact with people at all levels across the organization
  • Strong project management skills
  • Creative and strategic in solving problems as well as the ability to be flexible as needs change, and willing to do hands-on work

In-Office Collaboration
We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $122,400 - $168,300 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well-being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances.
