Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Sr. Manager, Performance Marketing to join our Global Pet team. This role is responsible for leading global performance marketing strategy and execution across our pet portfolio, driving customer acquisition, retention, revenue growth, and overall digital performance across multiple eCommerce channels and international markets.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in performance marketing, digital media, customer journey optimization, and data-driven decision making within fast-paced, high-growth environments. This leader will partner cross-functionally across Brand, Global Digital Commerce, Sales, Marketing, Data, and external agency partners to develop and execute scalable marketing strategies that deliver measurable business results.

This role requires a highly collaborative and hands-on leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational execution while effectively influencing stakeholders across a matrixed global organization.

This role pays $115,000k-$125,000 depending on experience plus commission.

What youโ€™ll be doing

  • Lead the development and execution of global performance marketing strategies across paid search, paid social, display, programmatic, affiliate, and CRM channels to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.
  • Own performance marketing strategy and execution across all global Pet eCommerce sites and multiple pet brands.
  • Drive full-funnel marketing performance with accountability for KPIs including ROAS, CAC, LTV, conversion rate, retention, revenue growth, and customer engagement.
  • Manage and optimize significant digital marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of spend and maximum return on investment.
  • Partner closely with Brand, Global Digital Commerce, Sales, Marketing, and Data teams to develop integrated campaigns aligned to business priorities and customer insights.
  • Lead and develop a team of up to 4 direct reports, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Analyze campaign and site performance data to identify trends, optimization opportunities, and actionable business insights.
  • Lead customer acquisition and retention initiatives through data-driven audience targeting, lifecycle marketing, personalization, and conversion optimization strategies.
  • Oversee digital marketing calendars, promotional strategies, product launches, and seasonal campaigns to support growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with agency partners and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are executed effectively, on time, and within budget.
  • Improve digital customer journeys and website experiences to drive conversion, engagement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop reporting frameworks, dashboards, and performance reviews that provide visibility into marketing effectiveness and business impact.
  • Stay current on industry trends, platform changes, emerging technologies, and evolving consumer behaviors to continuously improve marketing performance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Is this role for you?

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Analytics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in performance marketing, digital marketing, eCommerce, or related marketing roles.
  • Proven experience developing and executing multi-channel performance marketing strategies across paid search, paid social, display, programmatic, and eCommerce platforms.
  • Strong experience managing and optimizing substantial digital marketing budgets with a focus on ROI and revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated success driving measurable improvements in ROAS, CAC, conversion rates, customer acquisition, retention, and overall digital performance.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience working across multiple brands, business units, or international markets within a matrixed organization.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams with competing priorities and objectives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build alignment at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, high level of ownership, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience with digital marketing and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to effectively communicate and manage projects across cross-functional teams.
  • Approximately 5% travel required, including limited domestic and international travel as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to maintain a hybrid work schedule consisting of 4 in-office days and 1 work from home day per week after completion of the onboarding and training period.
