Job Description
The Marketing Lead serves as a subject matter expert and project leader responsible for coordinating and executing marketing initiatives that support business objectives and drive apartment rental demand. This role leads complex projects, facilitates collaboration across stakeholders, and ensures the successful delivery of marketing programs across multiple channels.
The Marketing Lead provides guidance and support to team members, contributes to process improvements, and serves as a trusted resource for marketing best practices, project execution, and operational effectiveness.
Essential Functions:
Marketing Project Leadership & Execution
  • Leads the execution of complex marketing projects and initiatives from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and marketing strategies.
  • Coordinates project activities, deliverables, timelines, and resources across marketing team members, field partners, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Manages multiple concurrent projects while balancing deadlines, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Establishes project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to support successful campaign execution and operational effectiveness.
  • Monitors project performance, identifies risks, dependencies, and obstacles, and recommends solutions to maintain timelines and project objectives.
  • Reviews project deliverables for quality, accuracy, brand consistency, and adherence to established standards and processes.
  • Supports the successful implementation of marketing programs designed to increase brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement, and apartment rental demand.

Marketing Programs & Content Development
  • Develops, coordinates, and maintains marketing content and communications across web, email, print, digital advertising, social media, and point-of-sale channels.
  • Ensures marketing materials align with brand standards, company objectives, audience needs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop effective messaging, campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Supports campaign planning and execution by coordinating assets, approvals, timelines, and communication strategies.
  • Assists in maintaining content accuracy and consistency across all customer-facing marketing channels.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for assigned marketing initiatives and project-related communications.
  • Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with field teams, operational leaders, vendors, agency partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Provides project updates, status reports, recommendations, and operational insights to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Facilitates meetings, project discussions, and workflow coordination activities to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Partners with leadership to ensure marketing initiatives support departmental priorities and organizational goals.

Team Support & Subject Matter Expertise
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on marketing programs, systems, tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Provides informal mentorship, guidance, and day-to-day direction to less experienced team members by sharing knowledge, resources, and expertise.
  • Supports onboarding and training efforts by helping team members understand processes, expectations, and marketing standards.

Process Improvement & Performance Optimization
  • Collaborates with leadership to identify, recommend, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and team performance.
  • Evaluates marketing workflows and operational procedures to identify challenges and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contributes to the development and documentation of best practices, standard operating procedures, and workflow standards.
  • Supports campaign performance analysis by gathering, reviewing, and communicating results and recommendations.
  • Tracks project outcomes and operational metrics to support data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Monitors industry trends, competitive activity, customer preferences, and emerging marketing practices to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, marketing operations, project management, or a related field required.
  • Experience leading marketing projects and coordinating initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams, external vendors, and business partners to achieve project objectives.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in multifamily housing, real estate, property management, hospitality, retail, or other customer-focused industries preferred.
  • Experience serving as a project lead or subject matter expert on marketing initiatives and operational processes.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, content management systems, and digital advertising tools.
  • Experience with campaign reporting, performance analytics, and marketing effectiveness measurement.
  • Experience developing workflow documentation, process improvements, or operational best practices.
  • Project management, Agile, or related professional certifications preferred.
  • Experience working in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments requiring strong stakeholder management skills.

  • Expected pay rate of $85,000-$100,000 with targeted annual bonus opportunities. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
