Creative Marketing Project Manager


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to manage projects across the full Creative Marketing life cycle. This person will support all functions within the Creative Team, including Production, Digital Design, and Print/Packaging Design.


This candidate will be responsible for liaising with cross-functional departments including Brand Marketing, Performance Marketing, eCommerce, and Creative to ensure complex projects are delivered seamlessly and on time. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of creative workflows and can build accurate resourcing plans accordingly. PMP certification is a plus.


What You'll Be Doing:

Creative Marketing Project Planning and Execution

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones spanning all phases of go-to-market and creative development, from pre and post production through design, artwork execution, and release
  • Oversee project workflows by delegating tasks, establishing priorities, and ensuring team alignment
  • Create and own project plans outlining deliverables, timelines, and resource needs, and monitor progress using project management tools to make timely adjustments
  • Manage resources effectively to ensure timely completion within scope and budget


Creative Collaboration and Resourcing

  • Collaborate closely with the Creative team, including Art Directors and Designers, to see projects through from start to finish
  • Lead project timelines against marketing calendars and manage the creative life cycle end-to-end
  • Coordinate pre and post production, including photoshoot timelines and retouching trafficking, ensuring final assets are ready by design kick-off
  • Lead artwork trafficking with Designers for both new packaging development and digital marketing assets
  • Accurately allocate creative resources and evaluate team availability based on a clear understanding of project timelines and workflows


Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Serve as the central point of contact between departments, fostering collaboration and alignment across goals and strategies
  • Facilitate communication and information sharing between teams to optimize project outcomes and minimize conflicts
  • Own digital file management to ensure cross-functional information efficiency


Strategic Alignment

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate company-wide objectives into actionable departmental plans
  • Align department-level goals with broader company strategies to ensure a coherent, unified approach


Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, provide progress updates, and address concerns proactively
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships to support project success


Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to maintain adherence to timelines and quality standards


What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
  • PMP certification highly desirable
  • 5+ years of project management experience focused on creative workflow, preferably in a cross-functional environment within a consumer products company
  • Strong understanding of production processes and the full go-to-market lifecycle
  • Proven track record managing complex projects from initiation to completion, on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to drive alignment across business units with urgency
