Job description

The Marketing Project Manager plays a key role in keeping Thompson Creek's marketing initiatives organized, on track, and moving successfully from concept through launch. This position owns the day-to-day project management of marketing campaigns and initiatives across digital, social, email, direct mail, broadcast TV, video, and web.

Working closely with the Marketing Director and Senior Program Manager, you'll bring structure and visibility to a busy marketing portfolio, coordinate internal teams and external partners, manage campaign QA and approvals, and help ensure projects launch on time and meet established standards. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

What You'll Do
  • Manage the marketing department's portfolio of active projects and upcoming initiatives, including priorities, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and potential risks.
  • Own marketing campaigns from creation through QA, approval, launch, and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Partner with the Marketing Director to turn marketing strategy and priorities into clear, actionable projects and timelines.
  • Maintain the marketing content calendar across the company blog, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Coordinate the development and production of digital and print creative, video advertising, direct mail, and other marketing materials.
  • Work closely with graphic designers, media partners, production vendors, and other external partners to keep projects on schedule.
  • Manage campaign review and approval processes, ensuring required QA and approvals are completed before launch.
  • Coordinate landing page and website updates and maintain visibility into requested and completed changes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on advertising initiatives across Google, Bing, Meta, direct mail, and broadcast TV.
  • Monitor campaign performance and help identify opportunities to improve current and future campaigns.
  • Lead marketing-related software implementations supporting lead and customer communications, coordinating configuration, testing, and rollout with internal teams and vendors.
  • Develop launch plans for new marketing initiatives, track readiness and milestones, and identify potential issues before they impact launch dates.
  • Maintain centralized project tracking and provide clear visibility into project status, priorities, risks, and progress.
  • Coordinate across Marketing, Customer Support, Technology, and other teams to keep initiatives moving forward.
