Job description

Title: Marketing, Project Manager 

Location: Stamford, CT OR Chicago, IL 

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt 

About the Role:  

Curaleaf is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our Marketing team and Internal Creative Agency. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of creative and marketing projects while ensuring timelines, budgets, compliance requirements, and stakeholder expectations are met. The ideal candidate brings a traditional agency project management background, thrives in fast-paced environments, and has experience navigating regulated industries, with particular strength in compliance submissions, regulatory reviews, and internal approval workflows.

What You'll Do: 

  • Manage the full lifecycle of marketing and creative projects from intake and resource scoping through execution, delivery, and post-launch review
  • Translate business objectives into clear project plans, timelines, and workback schedules
  • Develop and maintain timelines, dependencies, and resource allocations. 
  • Identify risks, scope changes, and bottlenecks; recommend mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate kickoffs, status meetings, and retrospectives, documenting key meeting outputs and next steps
  • Support communication between Marketing stakeholders and Creative Services team Set and manage timing expectations across Marketing, Creative, Compliance, Legal, Sales, Retail, and external vendors
  • Coordinate compliance and legal review workflows for marketing and creative assets
  • Partner closely with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure regulatory alignment.

What You'll Bring:

  • 4-7+ years of project management experience in a marketing or creative agency environment. 
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent creative projects. Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Working knowledge of AI-enabled productivity and project tools. End-to-end project ownership
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g Monday) DAM Systems, Office 360
  • A strong understanding of marketing methods and industry trends. 

Even Better If:

  • Experience in regulated industries (alcohol, cannabis, pharma, tobacco)
  • Familiarity with retail environments (Target-scale, Trader Joe's)
