Job Summary

Our client is currently looking for a Program Manager to oversee a portfolio of government programs, provide leadership, strategic planning, and operational management. The ideal candidate will have experience in personnel support, welfare, and/or outreach initiatives. Someone with strong communications and marketing experience tailored to military and government audiences with an emphasis on brand management, digital marketing, and stakeholder engagement. This role will have a strong understanding of cloud technologies and have familiarity with various IT platforms relevant to government and defense sectors. A results-driven professional committed to excellence in program execution and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with government clients to develop innovative, mission-focused solutions that drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create and refine digital products that meet client need with a strong focus on data analytics, user feedback, and continuous improvement of digital services, ensuring solutions are effective, user-friendly, and consistently enhanced to meet evolving end-user requirements.
  • Drive development and management of digital platforms, websites, or portals, all aimed at improving service delivery and fostering engagement for military or government personnel.
  • Provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance and leadership to ensure successful program outcomes.
  • Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization. Create and manage long-term goals.
  • Manage diverse initiatives across domains such as Next Generation Analytics, Engineering Services, Training Services, IT Systems, Cyber Security, PMO Support, and Financial Consulting.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in business, management, or another field related.
  • 10+ years of experience in planning, directing and implementing a large program of similar scope and complexity.   
  • 5+ years of experience in overseeing teams to provide user-centric digital solutions and experience for a varied end-user demographic within military or government sectors.
  • Experience crafting and executing marketing strategies tailored to military and government audiences, with emphasis on brand management, digital experience, and strategic outreach
  • Strong in contract management and can oversee financials at a program manager level.
  • Experience managing diverse teams in Department of Defense or other government agency complex information technology environments. 
  • Familiarity with various IT platforms relevant to government and defense sectors
  • Current Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
