Job description

Vault Roofing is hiring a Field Marketing Manager to help build and scale our canvassing and field marketing program across multiple growth markets.
This is not a typical local team lead role. We are looking for an experienced field marketing leader who can build a program from the ground up, create accountability in the field, develop high-performing teams, and help shape what canvassing becomes for Vault Roofing as we expand.
If you have built or led door-to-door canvassing, field marketing, appointment setting, lead generation, direct sales, home services, solar, roofing, exterior remodeling, pest control, security, telecom, or similar field teams, this could be a high-impact opportunity.
About the Role
The Field Marketing Manager will own the structure, execution, and growth of Vault Roofing's canvassing program across multiple markets in the United States. This person will partner closely with marketing, sales, recruiting, and local leadership to build a repeatable field marketing model that generates quality homeowner leads and supports market growth.
This role is a mix of remote work, field leadership, market visits, and hands-on program building. Travel is required.
What You'll Do
Build and scale a multi-market canvassing and field marketing program from the ground up
Create the playbook for recruiting, onboarding, training, managing, and retaining canvassers and field leaders
Hire, train, coach, and develop canvassing leaders and field marketing team members
Launch canvassing teams in new and existing markets
Set clear expectations for activity, lead quality, appointment generation, communication, and accountability
Develop field scripts, training materials, neighborhood canvassing strategies, and performance standards
Manage the day-to-day operations of the canvassing program, including territory planning, scheduling, field coverage, reporting, and follow-up
Track key performance metrics such as doors knocked, conversations, leads generated, appointments set, show rates, close rates, lead quality, and team productivity
Partner with sales leadership to ensure canvassing efforts are creating qualified opportunities for the sales team
Identify what is working, fix what is not, and continuously improve the program as markets grow
Build a strong field culture rooted in energy, accountability, professionalism, and results
Represent Vault Roofing professionally in the field and help ensure every canvasser does the same
What We're Looking For
5-10+ years of experience in field marketing, canvassing, door-to-door sales, lead generation, outside sales, or direct-to-consumer marketing
Prior management experience leading field-based teams
Experience building a team, program, territory, or location from scratch strongly preferred
Strong understanding of canvassing operations, field accountability, appointment setting, and lead generation
Ability to hire, train, mentor, motivate, and retain high-performing team members
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment with evolving priorities
Strong operational mindset with the ability to create structure, process, reporting, and accountability
Confident analyzing performance data and using it to improve results
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across marketing, sales, recruiting, and local market leadership
Willing and able to travel regularly to support market launches, field training, and team performance
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Home services, roofing, solar, exterior remodeling, pest control, security, telecom, or similar industry experience is strongly preferred, but not required
Why Vault Roofing?
Vault Roofing is investing in building an in-house canvassing program the right way: with leadership, training, accountability, and long-term growth in mind.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-visibility role where you are not just managing an existing team. You will help design the model, build the team, create the operating rhythm, and shape a field marketing program that could become a major part of the business.
We are looking for someone who has the experience, energy, and leadership ability to build something real.
If you are a proven field marketing leader who knows how to build teams, create structure, drive lead generation, and scale across markets, we want to talk to you.
Apply today to help build the future of Vault Roofing's field marketing program.

Bonus opportunity based on program performance, team growth, and market results
Full-time W2 position
