Job description

Marketing Operations Specialist

On-Site | Full-Time, Benefits Eligible | $70,000–$85,000

About the Role:

As our Marketing Operations Specialist, you willplay a key role in growing and scaling C2 Financial’s marketing and recruiting efforts. You’ll develop and execute campaigns designed to generate leads and attract loan officers to the C2 platform, while also building the systems, workflows, and reporting infrastructure that power our marketing engine.

This is a role for a systems thinker who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys working across marketing, technology, and analytics to build scalable programs that drive results. In addition to campaign execution, you will serve as the go-to expert for marketing and recruiting systems, analytics, and marketing operations across C2’s marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the CMO to execute annual and quarterly marketing and recruiting plans
  • Build and manage lead-generation and lifecycle marketing campaigns, including nurture strategies and reactivation of cold leads and inactive opportunities
  • Design and manage B2B lead funnels that convert prospects into recruiting conversations
  • Serve as the HubSpot administrator — building automations, workflows, email sequences, and campaign infrastructure
  • Own, manage, and optimize marketing and recruiting systems, including HubSpot and related platforms (Modex, Zoom, SendGrid, Sakari, Figma, etc.)
  • Manage website QA and updates, ensuring content accuracy, functionality, and alignment with marketing and recruiting goals
  • Track marketing and recruiting performance across channels, including dashboards, KPI reporting, and campaign analysis
  • Build reporting and data visibility through HubSpot and Excel to support leadership decision-making
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between marketing, recruiting, and operations
  • Build foundational processes and documentation to support scalable marketing and recruiting programs
Ideal Background:
  • Experience in marketing operations is required — this role is focused on building and managing marketing systems, workflows, and infrastructure, not paid acquisition or growth/performance marketing
  • Experience with B2B marketing, particularly demand generation or lead funnel strategies (versus consumer/e-commerce marketing)
  • HubSpot administration experience strongly preferred — building workflows, automations, and campaign infrastructure, not just using HubSpot as an end user.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including CRM (HubSpot preferred), marketing automation, and dashboards
  • Experience managing marketing systems and integrating multiple tools
  • Organized, systems-minded, and highly proactive
  • A strong grasp of marketing metrics, testing, and performance measurement
  • Individual contributor role — ideal for someone who has personally implemented, built, and managed a marketing operations/CRM system (e.g., at a startup or growing company) and became the go-to expert on it
  • Financial services, mortgage, or recruiting/talent marketing experience is a plus, but not required

This is a full-time office-based position in San Diego, CA

Compensation: $70,000–$85,000

Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Benefits
  • Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays
  • Bonus Opportunities
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
  • Fitness Reimbursement
  • Weekly Company Lunches & Breakfasts
  • Company Sponsored Events
