Job description

Marketing Coordinator
Clearbridge Business Solutions | Abbotsford, BC | In Office | 6-Month Term (with opportunity for permanent role)

ABOUT CLEARBRIDGE

Clearbridge Business Solutions is a people-centric managed and professional services firm with offices in downtown Abbotsford, BC and Kent, WA. We deliver IT, cybersecurity, AI & automation, marketing, and development services to customers across Canada and the United States.

We're a fast-paced, high-growth company. Our team becomes an extension of our customers' operations — understanding their businesses deeply enough to anticipate needs and recommend solutions that move the needle. We genuinely invest in our people. Your growth matters because when you succeed, our customers succeed.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As our Marketing Coordinator, you own the day-to-day execution of Clearbridge's marketing across every channel we run. You turn a strategy into a live content calendar, and a content calendar into published work that generates pipeline. You keep social, SEO/AEO, email, webinars, and paid campaigns moving without waiting to be told what's next.

This is a hands-on role for a tech-forward marketer who works AI into the workflow, not just the copywriting. You should be as comfortable drafting a strong B2B email as you are designing a graphic, building a landing page, or wiring up an automation that saves the team hours. You'll report directly to the Marketing Manager, work closely with our web development and sales teams, and have real ownership of what ships.

This is a 6-month contract with the opportunity to move into a permanent role for the right candidate.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Coordinate marketing across owned and paid channels: organic social, SEO/AEO, email, webinars, and Google and LinkedIn ads
- Build and maintain the content calendar, and keep it on track with minimal oversight
- Write clear, compelling copy for B2B audiences across formats — from social posts and emails to landing pages and webinar promotion
- Produce visual content: graphic design and photo for use across channels (and video editing where you're able)
- Use AI tools to work faster and smarter beyond copywriting — whether that's research, repurposing content, building workflows, or automating repetitive tasks
- Build and send email campaigns and newsletters, manage lists and segments, and report on performance
- Plan, promote, and support webinars from invite to follow-up
- Manage and optimize paid campaigns on Google and LinkedIn, and report on what's working
- Track performance across channels and use the numbers to sharpen the next round of work
- Work closely with our web development and sales teams to align campaigns with what we're building and selling

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a tech-forward marketer who can take a goal and run with it — someone who builds the calendar, ships the work, measures the result, and improves the next one, without needing to be managed through every step.

Independent
(Confident Ownership)
You can take a strategy and turn it into a content calendar and a stream of published work with minimal oversight. You try things, document what works, and know when to check in without defaulting to it. Nothing slips through the cracks on your watch.

Tech-Forward (AI in the Workflow)
You've moved past using AI just to draft copy. You use it to research, repurpose, automate, and build workflows that make the whole function faster. You're curious about new tools and quick to figure out how they fit.

Strong Writer (Clear and Persuasive)
You write clean, compelling B2B copy that respects the reader's time and moves them to act. You can shift tone across channels and formats without losing the thread.

Creative (Design and Photo)
You can take a piece of content from idea to finished asset, including the visuals. Graphic design and photo editing are part of your toolkit, not something you outsource for everything. Video editing is a welcome bonus.

Business Acumen
(Solutions-Oriented Thinking)
You understand marketing serves business goals. You think beyond the individual post and ask what will actually move pipeline for the business.

MUST-HAVES

- 2+ years in a marketing role, or a portfolio that clearly demonstrates you can do the work independently
- Excellent writing skills, with B2B samples you can show us
- Demonstrated use of AI workflows beyond copywriting (be ready to walk us through a real example)
- Graphic design and photo skills, with a portfolio
- Hands-on experience coordinating content across multiple channels
- Ability to build and manage a content calendar with minimal oversight
- Comfort working with marketing platforms and analytics tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, and HubSpot
- Strong communication and organization, and a bias toward shipping

NICE-TO-HAVES

- Video editing skills (a reel or samples are a plus)
- Experience marketing for a B2B services, MSP, or technology company
- Hands-on experience running Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads campaigns
- Familiarity with SEO/AEO best practices and how AI is changing search
- Webinar planning and promotion experience
- A track record of self-taught skills, side projects, or experiments with new tools

WHY CLEARBRIDGE

Real growth. This contract is built with a path into a permanent role for the right person. We invest in our people through training, internal knowledge sessions, and hands-on work with experienced professionals.

Exciting environment. Fast-paced, high-growth company with operations across BC, Alberta, and Washington.

Amazing team. Work with people who value collaboration, ask great questions, and balance craft with humanity.

Thoughtful workspace. Downtown Abbotsford office with natural light, standing desks, multiple monitors, and unlimited quality coffee.

Meaningful work. Your work directly drives how customers find and choose Clearbridge. That's real impact.

THE REALITY CHECK

This is an in-office role in Abbotsford, Monday through Friday. It's a 6-month contract — we're upfront about that — with a genuine opportunity to move into a permanent role if it's the right fit on both sides. You'll juggle multiple channels and deadlines at once, and you'll be expected to own the calendar and the output rather than wait for direction. Some work won't land the first time, and you'll need to read the data and adjust.

If you want to be handed a task list and clock out, this isn't it. If you want to own real marketing work end to end, push what's possible with AI, and see your contributions drive the business, we should talk.

OUR VALUES

Customer Obsessed. Easy To Work With. Think Beyond Boundaries. Seek Mastery. Move Tactically.

If these resonate, we should talk.

HOW TO APPLY

Submit a cover letter, resume, and a portfolio (writing samples plus design and photo work, and a video reel if you have one) at clearbridge.ca/careers.
