Job description

Threekit is looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to help run marketing end-to-end. You'll be one of two people on the team, working directly with the Director of Marketing and sharing responsibility for everything from email and webinars to social media, partnerships, and events. The scope is broad, and how you think, build, and execute matters more than checking every channel-specific box.
This role is designed for someone who brings deep, proven results in at least one marketing channel, develops specific ideas for Threekit, and is comfortable moving from strategy to hands-on execution. Success will be measured through engagement, audience growth, pipeline influence, and the ability to build practical programs that stand out from the standard playbook.
The successful candidate must reside within a reasonable daily commuting distance of our Chicago office and be in the office for 2 days per week. Occasional travel may be required for partner events and sponsorships. Interested? Apply now!
Who We Are
Threekit is the Channel Sales Platform for Complex Products, a modern configure-to-quote workflow designed for how channel selling actually works. Threekit gives dealers and customers a faster way to select, visualize, configure, and quote complex products without the rigid structure of traditional CPQ systems. We help manufacturers make complex products easier to buy and sell through the systems they already trust.
What We Value
At Threekit, our core values can be summed up with the acronym GRIT: Getting things done, Revenue, Innovation, and Team. These principles guide our actions and decisions, shaping the way we work and interact with each other and our customers.
At Threekit, GRIT is more than just an acronym; it is the driving force behind our success and growth.
What You'll Do
โ€ข Own lifecycle email, newsletters, and nurture programs end-to-end in HubSpot.
โ€ข Build and manage audience segmentation, list growth, and deliverability health.
โ€ข Write and edit email copy and continuously test subject lines, send times, formats, and calls to action.
โ€ข Plan and run the webinar program end-to-end, including topics, speakers, promotion, platform management, presenter coordination, and follow-up.
โ€ข Own webinar registration and attendance goals and develop follow-up programs that turn engagement into pipeline.
โ€ข Set a differentiated social media strategy and point of view for Threekit and its executives, not just a posting calendar.
โ€ข Build lightweight systems and automation for content creation and scheduling so social media remains scalable.
โ€ข Coordinate executive thought leadership by aligning leaders on messaging and timing and reporting on impact.
โ€ข Identify and manage co-marketing partnerships, influencer relationships, event sponsorships, and other strategic opportunities.
โ€ข Manage external vendors, agencies, and freelancers for design, video, and overflow work against an approved brief, timeline, and budget.
โ€ข Track and report performance across email, webinars, social media, partnerships, and sponsorships, including engagement, audience growth, and pipeline influenced or generated.
โ€ข Partner closely with the Director of Marketing on strategy, planning, reporting, marketing operations, and process development.
What Catches Our Eye
โ€ข Three or more years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS or marketing to enterprise buyers.
โ€ข Deep, demonstrable expertise in at least one core marketing channel, supported by specific examples of above-and-beyond results.
โ€ข Direct, hands-on experience running email or lifecycle marketing programs in HubSpot.
โ€ข Strong, adaptable writing skills, including the ability to capture an executive's voice as effectively as your own.
โ€ข Experience managing partners, vendors, freelancers, or agencies against a brief, timeline, and budget.
โ€ข A clear point of view and the ability to develop specific ideas for Threekit rather than defaulting to generic best practices.
โ€ข A self-motivated, builder mindset: you generate ideas, propose plans, execute independently, and find practical solutions when something is broken or slow.
โ€ข A bias toward action and comfort operating in an early-stage, resource-constrained environment.
Preferred Skills
โ€ข Experience with account-based marketing or marketing to enterprise buying committees.
โ€ข Basic design skills using Canva, Figma, or a similar tool.
โ€ข Basic video-editing or short-form video experience.
โ€ข Experience supporting executive thought leadership or social media programs.
โ€ข Experience building lightweight marketing workflows or automation.
What Success Looks Like
โ€ข Email: open rate, click-through rate, list growth, and pipeline influenced.
โ€ข Webinars: registration, attendance, and pipeline generated.
โ€ข Social media: engagement rate, follower growth, and executive share of voice.
โ€ข Partnerships and sponsorships: pipeline or revenue sourced or influenced.
Who You'll Report To
This role will report directly to the Director of Marketing.
What You Can Expect From Threekit
โ€ข A transparent recruitment process that includes an initial Cognitive Assessment, discussions with key stakeholders, and an exercise presentation. Looking to move quickly? So are we!
โ€ข A comprehensive insurance package including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
โ€ข Equity and retirement-plan support for your long-term future.
โ€ข An unlimited PTO policy and paid holidays so you can relax and recharge when needed.
โ€ข A hybrid work model that supports flexibility while maintaining meaningful in-person collaboration.
โ€ข A positive culture that embraces employee input.
*Threekit's salary ranges are determined based on market data for our industry and company size, and take into account work location, skills, experience, and education/certifications.
