Job Purpose
The Senior Marketing Manager leads the marketing function for Trans-Global Solutions, Inc. and its related brands. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that strengthen brand presence for TGS, AquaTerra Civil Engineering, and TGS Cedar Port Industrial Park. The position drives B2B industrial and railroad services marketing, supports lead generation and sales efforts, coordinates trade shows and events, and advances employer branding. The Senior Marketing Manager directly supervises a marketing team and works closely with the VP of Business Development and other senior leaders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
(Other duties may be assigned as needed to support company objectives.)
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies and annual marketing plans for Trans-Global Solutions and TGS Cedar Port Industrial Park.
  • Oversee brand management, messaging, and visual identity across all channels to ensure consistency and professional positioning in the industrial, railroad, logistics, and civil construction markets.
  • Direct digital marketing, content creation, website strategy, social media, email campaigns, and SEO/SEM efforts to generate qualified leads and support the sales pipeline.
  • Partner with Business Development and sales teams to create sales enablement materials, case studies, presentations, and targeted campaigns that support lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Plan, manage, and execute trade show, conference, and event participation, including booth strategy, logistics, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up.
  • Develop and implement employer branding initiatives that support talent attraction and reinforce TGS as an employer of choice.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a marketing team of approximately five team members; set goals, manage workloads, and foster a high-performance, collaborative environment.
  • Manage marketing budget, vendor/agency relationships, and performance metrics; report results and ROI to the VP of Business Development and senior leadership.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities in the industrial, railroad, and heavy civil sectors.
  • Ensure all marketing activities align with company values, safety culture, and professional standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the growth and reputation of the organization.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing a team.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B marketing, preferably within industrial, construction, railroad, logistics, energy, or related sectors.
  • Proven experience in brand management, lead generation, content marketing, digital channels, and event/trade show management.
  • Strong understanding of employer branding and talent attraction marketing is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms (CRM, email marketing, social media management, analytics, basic design or content tools).
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, events, and site visits within the Houston area and beyond as needed.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
