Revenue Analytics Lead, Marketing

Employment Type: Freelance

We are seeking an experienced, data-driven Revenue Analytics Lead to strengthen marketing measurement, reporting, and decision support. This role will establish reliable analytics foundations, translate complex business questions into actionable insights, and partner closely with marketing and revenue stakeholders to improve campaign performance, funnel visibility, and pipeline outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of marketing measurement frameworks, ensuring consistent definitions, accurate data, and trustworthy reporting.
  • Own and refine marketing funnel, campaign, and pipeline reporting to provide clear, actionable insights for business decision-making.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex data quality, integration, and reporting issues across multiple systems.
  • Develop sophisticated analytics solutions using SQL, cloud data platforms, and business intelligence tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, operations, finance, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable reporting solutions.
  • Analyze campaign and channel performance to identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and revenue contribution.
  • Translate technical findings into concise recommendations for technical teams, business partners, and executive audiences.
  • Help define reporting standards, documentation, governance practices, and operational processes that support data integrity.
  • Provide strategic guidance while remaining hands-on with analysis, troubleshooting, and solution development.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, revenue operations, marketing operations, business intelligence, or a related analytical discipline.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with cloud-based data warehouses and visualization platforms.
  • Deep understanding of marketing funnels, attribution considerations, pipeline metrics, and campaign performance measurement.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining complex dashboards, reporting frameworks, and self-service analytics solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and resolve complex data issues.
  • Experience working with CRM, marketing automation, attribution, enrichment, and other marketing technology platforms.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous business needs into practical technical requirements and measurable analytical solutions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to executives.
  • Comfort working independently in a freelance capacity while building productive partnerships across teams.
