About the Role

The Marketing & Communications Associate will play an integral role in supporting the growth and market positioning of our Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment's Transformation group in North America. This individual will help execute strategic marketing initiatives designed to elevate the firm's brand, deepen client engagement, and drive revenue opportunities across priority markets and industries.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of marketing experience within a professional service, consulting, or business-to-business organization. They are intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. This role requires both strong execution capabilities and the ability to think strategically about how marketing supports business growth.

Working closely with senior marketing leaders and practice leadership, the Marketing Associate will support integrated marketing campaigns, thought leadership launches, event execution, digital promotion, and internal go-to-market enablement efforts. The individual will also collaborate with cross-segment marketing teams to ensure alignment with broader Corporate Finance & Restructuring initiatives.

This role reports to the Director of Marketing for the Transformation pillar within the Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment in North America.

WhatYou'llDo

  • Coordinate practice development and marketing efforts, including tasks related to qualification / pitch materials; thought leadership and articles; internal and external communications; social media; event support; email campaigns; competitive research; new hire onboarding, integration support and promotion; award submissions; web presence; and advertising
  • Draft and proofread business development, presentation materials and marketing collateral, including client service biographies, pitches/proposals and marketing materials
  • Update case studies and qualifications repositories
  • Conduct competitive research and advise on marketing strategy for campaigns
  • Review and analyze ROI of marketing campaigns, including measurement and reporting of effectiveness
  • Synthesize and distill complex texts into varying formats for dissemination across different media channels
  • Manage segment content libraries
  • Ensure brand consistency/ enforce brand guidelines
  • Serve as marketing liaison to the segment, promoting tools to our professionals and conducting training
  • Maintain organized calendars and pipelines, tracking due dates and deliverables
  • Perform document review, data entry and analyze data gathered
  • Complete ad hoc projects (e.g., review prospective marketing events, awards submissions, etc.) to deliver on marketing and operational goals

Marketing & Business Development:

  • Work with internal clients to create copy and manage design for advertising, professional biographies, marketing and pitch/proposal documents and collateral materials
  • Coordinate with FTI corporate and design teams and provide creative direction on standards and maintain brand consistency across all the aforementioned content types
  • Coordinate and assist in creation of thought leadership, award submissions, marketing collateral, RFPs and pitch materials
  • Create and coordinate development and loading of content to intranet, including maintaining organized files for internal sharing and updating, as necessary
  • Monitor the competitive landscape in order to help position marketplace presence and opportunities with key client constituencies

External Communications:

  • Coordinate with design and digital marketing teams for completion of marketing programs
  • Create and manage social media campaigns in keeping with firm standards to support integrated marketing efforts
  • Coordinate press release campaigns to promote practice initiatives, offerings and professional announcements
  • Manage and assist with website content development and ongoing maintenance for the segment
  • Manage legal compliance review to ensure risk mitigation for thought leadership and marketing collateral

Internal Communications:

  • Develop internal communications surrounding business and marketing initiatives
  • Responsible for managing content for the CF&R segment on the global FTI intranet site and related newsletters

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of related post-graduate experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related field
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas

  • Experience in professional or financial services industry
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, or related marketing platforms, and Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and MS Word

Minimum Pay: $60,500
Maximum Pay: $106,500
