As a Customer Care Associate (Business Development Representative), you'll be the first impression of our company and an essential part of our customer experience. Whether you're responding to new inquiries, reconnecting with previous customers, or helping someone schedule their next appointment, your ability to build trust and create meaningful conversations directly contributes to our success.


This isn't a traditional call center position. You'll work alongside our sales, service, marketing, and operations teams to guide customers through every stage of their journey while creating opportunities that benefit both our customers and our business.

  • Competitive hourly wage of $22.00-$24.00+ per hour 
  • Commission on completed appointments 
  • 1-2% commission on qualifying HVAC and insulation sales 
  • 4% commission on Membership Agreement sales

What You'll Do

As a Customer Care Associate, you'll become the connection between our customers and our field teams.

Your day may include:

  • Responding quickly to inbound phone calls, texts, emails, and online inquiries 
  • Scheduling appointments for our sales, service, and home energy teams 
  • Following up with homeowners to answer questions and guide them through the next steps 
  • Making outbound calls to new leads, existing customers, and past proposals 
  • Promoting our Membership Program and explaining its benefits 
  • Reconnecting with previous customers regarding open estimates and home improvement opportunities 
  • Confirming upcoming appointments and communicating schedule updates 
  • Following up after appointments and installations to ensure customer satisfaction 
  • Collecting customer information accurately within our CRM system 
  • Assisting customers with service requests and coordinating with internal departments 
  • Supporting marketing campaigns through timely customer outreach 
  • Collecting payments when appropriate 
  • Working collaboratively with sales, marketing, service, and operations teams to create a seamless customer experience

Requirements

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • At least one year of customer service, inside sales, appointment setting, or call center experience 
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Experience working with CRM systems and multiple computer applications 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team 
  • Reliable transportation with the ability to commute to our Marlborough office 

Previous experience in HVAC, home services, construction, retail sales, or business development is preferred but not required.
