Job description

Performance Health is seeking an Operations Team Lead to join our team. As an Operations Team Lead, youโ€™ll play a crucial role in overseeing the daily activities across multiple teams within the distribution center. This versatile position allows you to contribute to the success of our operations through leadership, performance management, and problem-solving, all while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily operations, ensuring the efficient execution of tasks and alignment with organizational goals
  • Provide direction, training, and support to team members, ensuring full understanding and consistent execution of job duties
  • Monitor and report on system performance, making adjustments as necessary to optimize operational efficiency
  • Lead and support efforts to identify, analyze, and resolve operational challenges
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and meet performance standards in shipping, receiving, inventory, and other critical functions
  • Actively promote safety and compliance with all regulatory standards, including GDP, GMP, and HazMat
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to housekeeping and safety standards
  • Proactively manage daily tasks with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and reliability
  • Perform other duties assigned to support overall distribution center operations
Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in a high-volume distribution or logistics environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with working knowledge of logistics management software preferred
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with both internal teams and external partners
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, variable environment
