JOB SUMMARY:ย 
The Market President is a leadership role in the management and public relations efforts for a specific geographic territory. ย This position is responsible for the strategic execution of commercial and retail production goals to achieve profitability and sustained growth in the market. ย 


RESPONSIBILITIES:
ย ย  ย Meet or exceed volume/production and profitability goals for the assigned market through business development, team leadership, and overall strategic planning to align with company goals.
ย ย  ย Direct and oversee the production activities of commercial and consumer lenders in the market.
ย ย  ย Market's representative of the Bank with public relations and community outreach.
ย ย  ย Leads implementation of Bank's marketing programs to support market strategies and initiatives.
ย ย  ย Collaborate with Leadership to develop goals, strategies, business plans and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness; Provides continued analysis of market performance in meeting goals and objectives to determine areas for improvement and increased productivity.ย 
ย ย  ย Accountable for full management of direct reports and overseeing the management of entire staff to include hiring, coaching, performance management, professional development, and disciplinary actions.
ย ย  ย Maintain acceptable loan delinquency and charge-off levels for the market.
ย ย  ย Business development of loans and Bank products and services referrals to other lines of business.
ย ย  ย Work with cross functional departments to resolve issues and ensure reliability by analyzing and implementing best practices.
ย ย  ย Cultivate and provide opportunities for rising talent within the organization. Mentor and guide team members in developing their thought leadership capabilities and overall contributions to the organization.
ย ย  ย Ensure objectives of the Bank's CRA program are supported within assigned market.
ย ย  ย Provide excellent customer service to existing and potential clients and internal stakeholders.
ย ย  ย Ability to manage a budget, analyze and interpret business financial statements.

Qualifications

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
ย ย  ย Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or other related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
ย ย  ย Ten (10) years of professional banking experience is required with five (5) years of direct experience as a Commercial Lender required.
ย ย  ย Extensive knowledge of commercial and consumer lending procedures and regulations required.
ย ย  ย Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and business financial statements necessary.
ย ย  ย Excellent demonstrated positive leadership skills required.
ย ย  ย Demonstrated ability to manage staff to include coaching and development.
ย ย  ย Excellent written and verbal skills are essential.
ย ย  ย Proficiency of Microsoft Office Products.
ย ย  ย High level of professionalism and integrity.
ย ย  ย Ability to work hours to meet customer or event schedules is required.
ย ย  ย Ability to travel up to 20%.

In Fairfax, Virginia, the expected base pay salary range for this role is $165,818-$290,182, placement within the range will be determined on an individualized basis commensurate with experience and skills and is only one part of the total compensation package.
