How You'll Make an Impact as a Market Manager 
The Market Manager leads one or more local Manpower convenience branch(es) including all staffing operations and the P&L for their assigned market. The Market Manager has a strong focus on client engagement, sales growth, and driving team performance.   
Making an Impact: 
Sales & Business Development
    Drive market growth through strategic sales initiatives, utilizing all applicable sales enablement technology 
    Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold outreach, and market analysis.
    Prepare and present customized staffing solutions, pricing models, and service proposals.
Client Engagement & Onsite Presence
    Maintain consistent engagement at client locations to foster strong relationships and ensure service alignment.
    Conduct client visits to assess satisfaction, identify needs, and provide proactive support.
    Serve as the primary liaison for client communications, issue resolution, and workforce planning.

People Leadership: 
    Manage daily branch operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and service excellence.
    Lead and develop a team of recruiters to meet defined performance goals 
    Monitor and report on market KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
    Collaborate with recruiters to ensure timely and high-quality candidate placements.
    Support high-volume recruiting efforts and workforce scaling for client accounts as needed, utilize all internal enablement tools/teams.
    Model Our Standards in all interactions with teams and direct reports and foster a culture of inclusivity and innovation.
    Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, addressing employee relation issues as needed.
    Thought leadership looked to in the community as a workforce solutions expert, consistently leveraging all of ManpowerGroup solutions to enhance our brand reputation in the local market.

Your Typical Day/Other Key Details:

A Typical Day in the Role:
*This is a sample of a typical day, but Market Managers should expect variations in their day-to-day, as the role requires flexibility and adaptability.

    Team Huddle: Kick off the day with a quick stand-up meeting to review daily goals, recruiter pipelines, and performance metrics.
    Client Site Visit: Head to a client location to check in with supervisors, review workforce performance, and discuss upcoming staffing needs.
    Sales Outreach: Conduct prospecting calls or meetings with potential clients to pitch staffing solutions and work toward monthly sales goals.
    Networking: Attend a local business networking event with a client to strengthen relationships.
    Internal Coaching & Development: Meet with recruiters individually, to review candidate pipelines, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure progress toward stated goals/KPIs.
    Reporting & Planning: reviewing KPIs, updating systems, and planning for the next day's client visits and sales activities.
    Market Operations: Manage team schedules, reporting, coordination and compliance
 

In Office Requirements: 
    This role is required to be onsite in branch offices 5 days per week to support Recruiters and ensure our locations are open for our clients, candidates and associates.

Additional Requirements:
o    Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
o    Ability to travel locally to client sites and networking events on a regular basis.
o    Daily driving for onsite client engagement and business development activities.
o    Reliable transportation to support frequent travel between branch office(s) and client locations.

    Availability Requirements:
o    Must be flexible and available outside of standard business hours to support client needs, urgent staffing requests, or employee issues.
o    May be required to respond to after-hours calls, texts, or emails related to active placements or client escalations.
o    Will occasionally need to visit client sites during off-shifts (e.g., early mornings, evenings, weekends) to ensure service coverage and engagement.
o    Ability to adjust schedule as needed to meet business demands and maintain high levels of client satisfaction. 
What you'll bring with you
    AKA candidate requirements:
o    Sales: 2 years selling a solution / in a service industry
o    Management: 2 years demonstrated people and/or project management experience (people management preferred but not required)
o    Education: High school diploma or equivalent

o    Recruiting: In-depth knowledge of or expertise in the staffing industry or full life-cycle recruitment 
o    Operations: Experience managing a P&L
o    Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
