We are currently hiring a talented Producing Sales Manager who proactively identifies, develops and maintains a quality network of business relationships that serves as a source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities. External relationships are the cornerstone of generating new business and may consist of realtors, builders, professional and personal contacts.

You will be responsible for interviewing new and existing customers to determine their loan needs and advising those customers of appropriate products, terms, and pricing, while gathering any additional required information.

It will be necessary to generate complete mortgage applications, ensuring appropriate procedures and policies are followed, while meeting sales goals and objectives.ย 

Primary responsibilities include

  • Effectively manage the assigned territory to meet state goals; this will include retail branch assignments, geographic territory alignments, commercial loan officer coverage and the communication of these assignments to the loan officers within.
  • Provides guidance and training to loan officers in relating customer needs to the service capabilities of the Bank; the appropriate selection, preparation, execution of all documentation; banking laws/regs and financial analysis.
  • Ensures that the group generates high quality, profitable residential mortgage loans consistent with CMC policies, procedures and standards and federal regulations and guidelines.
  • Responsible for sourcing and recruiting new loan officers to support the established sales goals for the group.
  • Provides guidance and training to loan officers, to enhance branch referrals by developing relationships through branch visitation.
  • Personally generate residential mortgage loans to meet established goals; handle the most senior customer relationships and major transactions.
  • Contribute to enhancing the image of the Bank through active participation in professional, civic, and community organizations.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • Required Qualifications
    • 4+ years of residential mortgage sales experience.
    • Minimum 5 years mortgage management experience.
    • Proven record of recruiting success.
    • $10MM in annual closed loan volume.
    • Excellent sales presentation and marketing skills.
    • Excellent written, organizational and communication skills required.
    • Working knowledge of FNMA-DU/FHLMC/LP.
    • Referral network, required.
    • Successful candidate must meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
