 Servicing guest in a Family Style manner with high expectations of check redemptions, chip sales or redemption, negatable (check, fast cash tickets, coupons, etc.) items. Logging and ensuring compliance standards and regulations are met within regards to Internal Controls regulations.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proficient in English verbal and written
  • Equivalent to a high school diploma
  • 9-12 months of cash handling experience is preferred
  • Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to maneuver in and around work areas on casino floor and back of house.
  • Able to push and pull carts up to 75 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds of boxes filled with currency and chips.
  • Must be able to grip objects and have good finger dexterity for counting and handling currency.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolong periods of time (8+ hours).
  • Must tolerate working in environments with secondary smoke exposure
  • Must be physically able to crawl, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items as needed.
  • Must be able to work in areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights
  • Verification of funds from the recycler. Emptying and collecting the bin, learning and exhibiting processing the funds in the Boat Vault correctly.
  • Service guest with a smile and in a friendly manner. 
  • Being present and accountable on time to relieve cashiers of their duties, within 5-7 minutes of punching the clock, ready to work
  • Verify banks, including, but not limited to Main bank, Boat Vault, Chip/Marker Bank and Cashier window. Able to close and open banks without assistance.
  • Verify, tabulate and ensure accuracy on JDU paperwork along with the F&B paperwork, while logging accurate and true numbers in the computer.
  • Will pull BVD boxes and put tickets into NRT machines.
  • Will run BVD boxes.
  • Work multiple areas in accordance with business needs. Cashier could work multifaceted functions and must adapt to high paced business needs
  • Be open and acceptable to change. Cashier can start in one area and moved according to business deems necessary
  • Count drawer at start of shift, verify cash amount and document according to standard procedure.
  • Issue chips, and cash gaming instruments to customers for cash.
  • Issue and receive payment of markers for customers.
  • Send paid markers to the bank.
  • Redeem complimentary checks in accordance with standard procedures.
  • Redeem chips and tokens for cash at customer request.
  • Process credit card and check transactions within standard procedures.
  • Verify and process soft count drops for Cage supplement purposes.
  • Prepare deposits to the bank.
  • Balance the drawer at the end of the shift.
  • Other duties as assigned.
