This position is responsible for inspecting, flagging and reporting any defects discovered on equipment entering our yards located in Laveen, AZ.

*We are willing to train anyone with an interest in learning about the basic vehicle components on semi-trucks and trailers.*

Schedule:

  • 8 am to 5 pm, Mon-Fri

Pay:

  • Starting at $20 per hour

Physical Requirements:

  • Continually stand, stoop, bend and squat repeatedly for up to 8 hours.
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50#.
  • Must have the dexterity to lower oneself on and off a creeper and maneuver freely under vehicles.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Withstand various ambient outdoor temperatures.

Additional Skills Required:

  • Able to effectively communicate with all types of persons (bilingual a plus, but not required)
  • Able to read and write legibly.
  • Familiarity with basic tools to perform very minor repairs (tighten bolts, install mud flaps, replace marker lights, etc.)
