Position Overview

QinetiQ US is seeking a Procurement Coordinator for our Lorton, VA location.  

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of a Procurement Coordinator include the strategic sourcing of materials and services, managing procurement processes, and optimizing cost without compromising on quality. This involves:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with company goals.
  • Negotiate and execute purchase orders with suppliers and secure advantageous terms.
  • Perform price/cost analysis.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services from vendors.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and new suppliers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR requirements and regulations
  • Coordinate and track all accounts payable actions associated with recueeing project sites services (such as electricity, gas, etc) for the entire program.
  • Provide reports on account spending associated with site service invoicing
  • Coordinate all scheduling actions to include deconflicting meetings, appointments with clients, and training as required
  • Maintain established knowledge management system to track all program correspondence and formal contract deliverables, using microsoft product tools and any program specific tools
Required Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience- 2+ years in a procurement or purchasing role, with at least 1+ years in a handling complex procurement task.
  • Understands Contractors Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR) requirements
  • Use of Costpoint ERP system
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $52,800- 69,900K USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
