You may also offer advice about efficiency upgrades and other possible changes that the owners of the craft can make. What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a marine service manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Marine Service Manager, you need strong technical knowledge of marine systems, leadership experience, and often a background in marine engineering or related fields. Familiarity with marine diagnostic tools, maintenance software, and certifications like ABYC or manufacturer-specific credentials are typically required.
