Job description

Mobile Marine Technician — Premium Marine Service Experience

Respect • Independence • Opportunity

Marco Mobile Marine is a new, premium marine service provider serving the Naples, Marco Island, and Goodland areas. Built by a boater who understands the frustrations of traditional service models, our mission is simple: deliver a “Ritz‐Carlton” level client experience while giving our technicians the respect, autonomy, and earning potential they deserve.

If you’re an experienced marine technician who takes pride in your craft and wants a fresh start with a company that invests in its people, you may be the lead technician we’re looking for.

Why This Role Is Different

You won’t be micromanaged. You won’t be rushed from job to job. You’ll be the face of a modern, tech‐forward operation built around transparency, professionalism, and client trust.

Our fully automated service platform handles scheduling, reminders, agreements, credit card authorization, and invoicing. You’ll work from a brand‐new, fully stocked Marco Mobile Marine van and a company tablet that lets you scan parts directly into the client invoice, upload before/after photos, and tap “en route” so clients receive real‐time updates.

The infrastructure is already in place. You hit the ground running on day one.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on outboard engines and propulsion systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues across a wide range of vessels.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, and system enhancements.
  • Work directly with clients to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Maintain accurate digital service records using our automated system.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a marine technician.
  • Strong diagnostic skills across engine, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with Mercury, Suzuki, Yamaha, or other major manufacturers (certifications a plus).
  • Ability to work independently with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and customer‐service mindset.
  • Willingness to travel locally for on‐site service.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

What Marco Mobile Marine Offers

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience and certifications.
  • Year‐round, full‐time employment.
  • Earning potential of $60–80K for certified technicians.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Retirement plan.
  • Paid time off and vacation.
  • Direct access to the owner on a daily basis allowing the Technician to provide ideas and discuss best practices
  • A collaborative, professional work environment.
  • Opportunities to work on diverse boats, engines, and systems.
  • Performance review after 6 months with potential bonus structure.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a drug and alcohol screen.

Why Join Us?

We’re not hiring to fill a spot — we’re building a flagship service operation and want a technician who takes pride in elite workmanship and client care. As we grow, your earning potential and career opportunities grow with us.

If you’re ready for independence, respect, and a company that values your expertise, we want to meet you.
