Job description

Global Marketing Manager For Echolab (Adults & Pediatrics)

The Global Marketing Manager for EchoLab (Adults & Pediatrics) reports to the CVUS Global Marketing Director, and is responsible for optimizing commercial performance through development and execution of Global Marketing Plans, including New Product Introduction, in coordination with the Global & Regional stakeholders. You will gather market insights to develop compelling Value Propositions, sales tools, product training and competitive analysis. Digital Strategy and awareness through social media is a key component of the role.

Essential Responsibilities

Market Analysis and Long Term Strategy:

  • You will work in close collaboration with the Global Business Director to develop a market assessment and produce quarterly market share analysis, pricing analysis, competitive deep dives analysis, to identify product and marketing/commercial opportunities for profitable growth
  • You will develop a deep understanding of clinical and industry trends in the segment, perform product & service economic analysis, develop and support portfolio diversification strategies
  • You will create strong connections with KOLs to understand their unmet needs and be the Voice of Customers for strategic directions in future product roadmaps and prioritization of product developement.

New Product Introductions:

  • You will lead NPI launch plans and develop business cases in collaboration with Product Managers and marketing plans with Region Marketing Leaders
  • You will develop impactful value propositions, for assigned products/offers/services, based on customers' main clinical, operational and economic challenges, unmet needs, buying criteria and personas. You will participate in the evaluation of market research, market positioning, promotions associated with assigned scope
  • You will define solid evidence generation plans required to support our Value Propositions. During the NPI evaluation phase you work closely with KOLs, Global & Regional clinical teams as well as research teams to demonstrate unique and measurable benefits of GE HealthCare's solutions
  • You will develop close collaboration with Key Opinion Leaders and leverage them as ambassadors of GE HC's solutions and build thought leadership and generate awareness through customers' experience
  • You will work in close collaboration with Global Marcom Mgr & Region Marketing Mgrs to develop campaigns that lead to customers' behaviors changes (switch from competition, upgrade to newest platform) and leverage new channels, techniques and identify optimally effective sales tools, including web and digital strategies, to meet the business' objectives
  • As a senior leader, you are able to think outside of the box, be creative and bring new solutions to problems outside of set parameters. You can communicate difficult concepts and have an ability to influence key stakeholders.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • You have a license in Business Administration Marketing or related field.
  • 8+ years' experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • You have experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • You are recognized for your ability to lead teams and define a marketing strategy or related field.
  • You are familiar with the healthcare industry/products and have experience managing an international brand
  • Strong analytical and process skills

Desired Characteristics

  • You have gained significant marketing experience in upstream or downstream roles, including market analysis, customer insights, product launch, business development and branding
  • You bring prior experience in both global and region product marketing
  • You are familiar with the healthcare industry/MedTech products and have experience managing an international brand
  • You bring a sound clinical expertise in interventional cardiology (devices and/or imaging)
  • You bring a sound knowledge across product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups and a strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking and influencing skills
  • You have strong analytical and process skills
  • You bring excellent oral and written communication skills in English as well as very good interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Prior experience in both global and region product marketing
  • Demonstrated project management and budget skills
  • Healthcare product experience and industry acumen
  • Customer-centric and service-oriented attitude.
