Job Opportunity at Apave America Inc.

Apave America Inc. is seeking candidates for a general application specifically for the Houston, TX Turnaround. Various service line classifications are available including NDT/RT Assistants & Trainees, NDT Level II MT/PT/UTT/PMI Technicians, RT Level II Technicians, and API 510/570/653 Inspectors.

Work conditions include:

  • Field duties requiring indoor and outdoor work in diverse industrial environments with varying climate conditions
  • Interaction with crew employees, supervisors, client personnel, and a wide range of stakeholders
  • Working in a plant and/or shop area around production machinery with extreme noise levels
  • Work from various levels of heights and/or confined spaces for long periods of time
  • Wearing safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection (PPE)
  • Possible travel to different job sites as needed, sometimes on short notice
  • Possible shiftwork (days, evenings, nights)

Physical and mental requirements include:

  • Ability to lift, move, and carry objects weighing 75lbs. or greater
  • Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, and climb
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights, including climbing tanks, ladders, scaffolding, towers, piping systems, catwalks, structural steel, and wind turbines
  • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and stooping
  • Working extended hours and standing for extended periods of time
  • Working in indoor and outdoor environments in conditions of extreme heat and/or cold
