General Summary:
This individual independently plans and performs the moderately-defined responsibility for working on Localization Algorithms that localize the vehicle on different types of maps, including Standard Definition map, High-Definition map, and Crowd Sourced maps, which includes non-semantic map layers. Designs and implements state-of-the-art state estimation algorithms that can find the pose of the vehicle on a map. Applies expertise with Kalman Filters, including EKF & UKF, Particle Filters, and SLAM theory. Applies expertise with modern C++ and Python, along with data structures and algorithms. Applies expertise with different sensors and their underlying technology, including maps, cameras, Radars, IMU, GNSS, Lidar, along with state-of-the-art computer vision technology. Applies expertise in software optimization in C++ and Python to improve run time and provide robust production-grade software. Contributes towards software and vehicle testing to confirm software and system requirements are met for the Localization solution. Applies expertise with debugging tools to be able to root-cause issues reported by application teams and customers. Applies expertise with relevant automotive processes to be able to deliver production-grade software and documentation. Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.

Will accept a Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field and six (6) months of experience in a related occupation.
Pay Range: $120,349.00 - $150,200.00/year
