Location: Jackson, MI - 49203
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr.
Job Type: Contract (3 Months)
Shift: 6:00pm  – 6:00am (12-hour Shift, 2-2-3 rotating schedule)
 
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse and shipping operations in a vinyl siding manufacturing facility. This role involves picking and preparing orders, loading and unloading trucks, scanning products, and supplying materials to the production line. The associate must follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
•    Pick and prepare products for shipment
•    Load finished products onto trucks
•    Scan products into the inventory system
•    Move completed pallets from production lines to warehouse storage
•    Supply production lines with boxes and packaging materials
•    Unload incoming shipments and store materials in the correct location
•    Operate forklift and warehouse equipment safely
•    Perform daily inventory counts and organize warehouse shelves
•    Wrap pallets and prepare orders for shipping
•    Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse area
 
Requirements:
•    Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
•    Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb ladders as needed
•    Comfortable working in a noisy and dusty manufacturing environment
•    Ability to work 12-hour shifts and a rotating schedule
•    Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification
•    Basic computer skills for scanning and inventory systems (SAP/UPS preferred)
•    Must follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
•    Manufacturing / warehouse facility
•    Exposure to dust, noise, heat, and cold temperatures
