Job description

GMP Manufacturing Technician / Manufacturing Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated GMP Manufacturing Technician / Manufacturing Associate with 1–2 years of experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. This position will support day-to-day manufacturing operations while following established procedures, safety requirements, and GMP standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately document production activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing activities in accordance with approved SOPs, batch records, and GMP requirements.
  • Set up, operate, clean, and maintain manufacturing equipment as assigned.
  • Execute production processes while following established procedures and safety protocols.
  • Accurately complete batch records, logbooks, forms, and other required manufacturing documentation.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain proper documentation and data integrity.
  • Perform material handling, weighing, staging, and preparation of raw materials and production supplies.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes and equipment for proper operation.
  • Identify and report equipment issues, process deviations, or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with investigations and corrective actions related to manufacturing deviations when required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing environment in accordance with company procedures.
  • Follow gowning, hygiene, environmental, and contamination-control requirements.
  • Work closely with Quality, Warehouse, Engineering, and other manufacturing teams to support production schedules.
  • Participate in equipment cleaning, line clearance, and area preparation activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and other manufacturing projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in GMP manufacturing, preferably within biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's
  • Working knowledge of GMP requirements and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience following SOPs and detailed written procedures.
  • Ability to accurately complete batch records and production documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes consistently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable working with manufacturing equipment and performing repetitive physical tasks.
  • Ability to gown and work in controlled manufacturing environments as required.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
