Job Summaryย 

The Manufacturing Technical Program Manager (MFG TPM) leads theย development, industrialization, and execution of advanced manufacturing technologiesย spanningย wafer fabrication, innovative wire solutions, and precision alignment/assembly processes. The role owns technical program strategy, readiness milestones, and execution cadence to matureย new technologiesย from early development through high-volume production.ย 

Serving as aย technical bridge across R&D, waferย fabs, OSATs, Manufacturing Engineering, and CMs, the MFG TPM ensures alignment between design intent, process capability, yield, and manufacturing readiness across globally distributed teams. The role combines strong wafer-fabย technical understanding with disciplined program leadership and hands-on problem solving to support advanced datacenter hardware platforms.ย 


Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Ownย end-to-end technical executionย of NPI programs from technology development through productionย ramp.ย 
  • Driveย concurrent developmentย with R&D, aligning device architecture, process flows, and manufacturing strategy.ย 
  • Leadย waferย fabrication industrialization, including lithography, deposition, etch, CMP, metrology, and yield ramp.ย 
  • Define and manageย technology readiness milestones, build gates, and technical risk mitigation.ย 
  • Act as theย primary technical integrator and escalation pointย acrossย fabs, OSATs, Manufacturing Engineering, and CMs.ย 
  • Transition technologies from pilotย buildsย intoย high-volumeย fabย and manufacturing environments.ย 
  • Establishย yield learning, SPC, and control strategiesย and lead root cause resolution for process and reliability issues.ย 
  • Ownย technical change controlย and ensure clear, consistent communication across sites and partners.ย 

Required Qualificationsย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineeringย or related discipline (Master'sย preferred).ย 
  • 8+ years of experience inย technology development, wafer fabrication, or advanced manufacturing NPI.ย 
  • Proven experience leadingย wafer-level or semiconductor-based productsย through productionย ramp.ย 
  • Ability to manageย complex technical programs across multiple teams, sites, and manufacturing partners.ย 
  • Experience working directly withย waferย fabs, OSATs, and external manufacturing partners.ย 

Preferred Qualificationsย 

  • Hands-on experience withย silicon waferย fabย processesย (lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, metrology).ย 
  • Experience withย advanced packaging or interposers.ย 
  • Familiarity withย high-performance interconnectsย (wires, cables, connectors).ย 
  • Experience supportingย datacenter, HPC, or performance-critical hardware.ย
