Manufacturing Technical Specialist – Expert
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $27–$28+ per hour, DOE

Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technical Specialist to provide hands-on production support and collaborate closely with cross-functional Engineering teams. This position plays an important role throughout the manufacturing process by implementing engineering-developed processes, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing constructive feedback to improve production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with cross-functional Engineering teams and provide general production support.
  • Implement and execute processes developed by Engineering.
  • Provide constructive, collaborative feedback to Engineering and manufacturing partners.
  • Lead team communication and provide updates on daily activities and priorities.
  • Collaborate in New Project, Product Transfer, and Product meetings.
  • Support manufacturing processes from development through production.
  • Troubleshoot test and measurement equipment and production-related technical issues.
  • Perform hands-on assembly and provide technical support as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 3–5 years of experience successfully working with Engineering teams and manufacturing partners throughout the production process.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Higher education or specialized training/certification preferred, such as an Electronics Certificate or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of operating, troubleshooting, and remotely controlling test and measurement equipment.
  • Solid understanding of analog and digital circuits and theory.
  • Hands-on assembly experience.
  • RF and microwave technical knowledge.
  • Understanding of the product lifecycle.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Growth mindset with the ability to learn, adapt, and continuously improve.
