Job description

Manufacturing Quality Engineer

This is a 12-month onsite opportunity focused on supporting quality initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The client is looking for motivated candidates ranging from entry level candidates up to 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with production and shop floor teams to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and support corrective/preventive actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality improvement initiatives
  • Support defect prevention, process improvement, and waste reduction activities
  • Exposure to manufacturing processes and quality engineering practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 0–7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or quality engineering
  • Basic understanding of quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.
  • Comfortable working in a shop floor/manufacturing environment
