Job description

At Clark Pacific, the Quality Manager plays a critical role in ensuring manufactured products meet established standards for quality, reliability, and performance. Working within the Manufacturing and Quality Control teams, this role is responsible for driving quality processes, improving production methods, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. The Quality Manager partners closely with production teams, leadership, and external stakeholders to enhance product quality, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement across operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects, and proprietary information.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client requirements and communicate quality, reliability, and performance expectations to production teams.
  • Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes to enhance product quality.
  • Develop, review, and improve specifications, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Establish requirements for raw materials and monitor supplier compliance.
  • Conduct regular assessments of production processes and develop in-house quality policies and procedures.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions to improve compliance and prevent recurrence of quality issues.
  • Manage inspection and testing of materials, parts, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to quality personnel.
  • Ensure project and departmental milestones are met and align with approved budgets.
  • Oversee product development procedures to identify and resolve deviations from quality standards.
  • Perform final product inspections to ensure consistency and standardization.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis to support quality initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science or business-related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and applicable standards.
  • Experience in structural or architectural precast concrete preferred.
  • ACI certification (Levels I & II) preferred.
  • Experience with concrete mix design preferred.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prevent recurring issues.
  • Ability to interpret compliance manuals, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and focus across multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable escalating issues while maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
