Job description

About PRE‑TEC

PRE‑TEC, a division of The Willamette Valley Company, is a leading engineered solutions provider specializing in turnkey liquid dispensing and robotics systems. We combine multi‑axis robotic arms, custom end‑of‑arm tooling, conveyance systems, and safety hardware to build flexible automation solutions for applications such as welding, material finishing, marking/coding, and building products.
Our philosophy is centered on service, innovation, and integrity. We design systems in our Eugene, Oregon facility, assemble, test, and validate them before shipping, and work closely with customers throughout design, installation, training, and support.

Position Overview

PRE‑TEC is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Planner/Analyst to join our team. In this role you will help optimize how we plan, build, report on, and deliver automation projects. You will act as a bridge between engineering, manufacturing, project management, and service/support, helping ensure we make data‑driven decisions, maintain accurate visibility, streamline workflows, and support growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with internal stakeholders (engineering, project management, operations, purchasing, service/support) to gather, clarify, and document business requirements to support project execution.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and regular reports to track project status, budget vs. actual, and resource capacity.
  • Leverage our ERP system(s) to ensure accurate capturing of project data (costs, scheduling, resource allocation), facilitate forecasting, and provide visibility across departments.
  • Assist in process mapping and documentation between engineering and production.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, a related field or work experience.
  • 2+ years experience as a Manufacturing Planner/Analyst or in a similar role, ideally within industrial/manufacturing, robotics, systems integration, or related environment.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with ERP / CRM systems, understanding how they are used in a project / manufacturing / parts / service lifecycle.
  • Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling, scenario analysis.
  • Experience with SQL or other query languages / data manipulation is a plus.
  • Proven ability to build dashboards and reports for operational and project‑management visibility.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Comfortable working across teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking, detail oriented, ability to manage multiple priorities.
