Role Summary

Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a determined Manufacturing Project Manager to manage a portfolio of projects through the production process, delivering programs end-to-end as we turn digital files into large scale releases. The Manufacturing Project Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Project Management who is accountable for on-time delivery of ~300 sports card releases annually. Given the team's mandate to ensure Fanatics Collectibles can deliver everything from flagship products to small run projects with a goal of 100% On-Time Delivery, the Manufacturing Project Manager will be expected to:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for issue resolution, decision making, and progress during production window for owned programs
  • Build preliminary production schedules and maintain progress against key milestones
  • Facilitate process improvement projects to make Fanatics Collectibles Manufacturing more efficient as we scale
  • Build meaningful relationships across the organization from Product, Tech, Manufacturing, Pre-Press, and Engineering leaders and working team members

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent critical thinking & organizational skills, a demonstrated propensity for continual learning, experience with large-scale problem solving and executing end-to-end programs. Candidates with a passion for sports & a team-first mindset will be a strong fit with the Fanatics Collectibles culture.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with Operations Planning: Work closely with Operations Planning to prioritize key product processing, such as engineering backlog, scheduling, and file delivery to printers, ensuring efficient production timelines
  • Point of Contact (POC): Serve as the primary liaison for upstream communications from Product Development, Bill of Materials (BOM), Pre-Press, Topps Project Management, Auto/Relic Ops, and other relevant vendors
  • Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates on product progress to leadership during weekly executive updates
  • Addressing Challenges: Proactively address any urgent production issues that arise, collaborating with Brand, Product, Operations Planning, and Production teams to find effective  and often creative solutions

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in handling a portfolio of projects from start to finish
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines and ensuring quality standards
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively to achieve project goals
  • Spanish & English proficiency preferred (although Spanish language not necessary)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes in the context of sports trading cards or similar products is a plus
