Job description

Summary

As a Senior Engineering Project Manager, you will lead small to large capital projects at the Twin Falls, Idaho facility. This role is responsible for executing capital projects within an active manufacturing environment, requiring strong ownership, decision-making, and the ability to independently drive projects forward with minimal oversight. This is a high-impact role for a self-directed project leader who has strong accountability, strategic thinking, and the ability to move projects forward despite uncertainty. The successful candidate will confidently take ownership, make critical decisions, and provide leadership to ensure capital projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget with minimal oversight.

**This is an onsite position at the Twin Falls, ID facility. Chobani provides a relocation package for assistance. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead small to large capital projects within an active operating facility, serving as the primary project owner from concept through completion.
  • Assume ownership of projects already in motion and drive execution with minimal ramp-up
  • Manage full project lifecycle including:
    • Scope, budget, timeline, and resources
    • Vendors, contractors, and stakeholders
    • Issue resolution and risk mitigation
  • Execute projects while balancing:
    • Production continuity
    • Safety requirements
    • Cost control
    • Schedule adherence
  • Support capital workstreams including:
    • Blow molding
    • UHT / aseptic systems
    • Fill/pack operations
    • Process engineering
    • Utilities and raw materials

Responsibilities

  • Define project scope in collaboration with stakeholders and plant leadership
  • Develop and manage detailed work plans, schedules, and resource allocations
  • Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, maintenance, and external partners
  • Oversee execution and ensure alignment to safety, quality, and operational requirements
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, and timelines; proactively address risks and issues
  • Communicate progress, decisions, and changes to key stakeholders
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet defined objectives and success criteria
Requirements

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Proven experience leading capital projects in a manufacturing or operating facility
  • Demonstrated ownership of full project execution (not just support role)
  • Strong decision-making ability, accountability, and self-sufficiency
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, vendors, and contractors

 

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • PMP / PMI certification
  • Experience in:
    • Food, beverage, dairy, or regulated manufacturing
    • Packaging, process, or utility systems
    • Aseptic / UHT or blow molding environments

The salary range for this full-time position is $121,000.00 - $190,300.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
