Job description

Job Summary The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible to provide technical leadership in machine design, process and operational efficiency for high speed aseptic filling and packaging technologies. The incumbent optimizes equipment layout, providing subject-matter-expertise for new product or process technology while ensuring cGMP compliant manufacturing.
Salary Range: $60,966 - $85,694
Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY THE INCUMBENT.

  • Provide on-going technical support for manufacturing operations after project installation.
  • Drive technical advancement, solving problems and unique challenges.
  • Contract specialty vendors, actively partnering with vendors to implement design specifications, install and or refurbish manufacturing and packaging technologies.
  • Identify and implement shop-floor continuous improvement (CI) projects.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (OEE, CI, Lean implementation) across the manufacturing function
  • Optimize equipment and process functionality
  • Drives cGMP compliant equipment design, will alter existing design using AutoCAD
  • Implement control systems, PLC programming of highly automated manufacturing technologies
  • All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs, and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities.
