Job Title: Food Production Worker

Job Description

This role supports a high-speed food packaging production line by operating packaging equipment, palletizing products, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. You will handle heavy lifting, ensure accurate labeling and stacking of product, and complete basic production and quality assurance documentation while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate high-speed packaging production line equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Palletize bags weighing 30–50 lbs at the end of the packaging line.
  • Consistently lift and move 50 lb bags throughout the shift.
  • Accurately stack bags onto pallets to maintain stability and order.
  • Inspect bags to ensure labels are correct and meet quality standards.
  • Complete daily production and quality assurance paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Keep the work station clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Follow all Safety and Quality Assurance rules, procedures, GMPs, and SOPs.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced industrial production environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support production and packaging operations.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to lift and consistently handle 50 lb bags safely.
  • Experience with palletizing and packaging in an industrial or production setting.
  • At least 1 year of industrial work experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail for accurate stacking and label inspection.

Work Environment

This role is based in a food production facility that produces various blends and spices for multiple clients, operating under strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures). The environment is fast-paced and industrial, with high-speed packaging equipment and regular handling of 30–50 lb bags. The position follows: an early shift from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with expected overtime of 1–2 hours on some days. While Saturdays are not currently scheduled, you must remain open to working Saturdays if needed. Proper attire is required for safety and hygiene, including safety work shoes with reinforced toes and slip-resistant soles, durable work pants such as denim (no leggings, jeggings, tights, yoga pants, or shorts), and shirts that cover the shoulders (no tank tops, halter tops, midriff tops, open-back shirts, or strap-only tops). Long hair must be tied or banded, and no jewelry is allowed, including rings, watches, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, or visible piercings. The facility emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and adherence to established procedures to ensure a consistent and compliant work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
