Job description

This is a Production Planning role in support of manufacturing and production operations at our facility. We are seeking a candidate that will be responsible for performing a variety of planning tasks in various buildings at SWFLANT, Kings Bay. Tasks such as the creation and maintenance of work instructions, service/production orders and inspection instructions. Coordinate day-to-day efforts with production and SPK organizations. Monitor and resolve material requirements planning (MRP) issues to ensure inventory balances support supply and demand requirements. Develop planning resource tools in support of operations using Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint; create manufacturing/production products, such as service/production orders within the applicable computer program. Ensure processing documentation is released in support of master schedule requirements.. Additional responsibilities include
- The candidate will develop schedules and risk management plans and provide visibility to any obstacles which may hinder production deliveries.
- The candidate will work closely with other members of the program planning team to coordinate production activities across the facility.
- Interact with internal and external organizations such as engineering, production, Lockheed Martin and government quality to mitigate any impacts to processing and ensure information is coordinated with required stakeholders.
