Responsibilities
Hamilton Medical is seeking a Production Operator to assemble precision medical devices. We are looking for those with the ability to work accurately and be able to follow schematics and instructions precisely. The operator position requires excellent manual dexterity and the ability to work with small components and hand tools. Production Operators will need a keen eye for detail and quality while working in a fast paced environment.
Shifts available for this position:
Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Other Production Operator responsibilities include:
  • Perform routine production duties and preventative maintenance
  • Adherence to product quality standards and procedures
  • Work in a production environment assembling medical devices
  • Interact effectively with all support groups and fellow employees
  • Requires excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, high efficiency, and ability to follow process instructions
  • Use of hand tools, tweezers, and other light machinery
  • Assemble equipment according to blueprint and schematics correctly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast paced environment to meet quality and quantity quotas
  • Experience using diagrams or blueprints, and follow other written or verbal instructions
  • Mechanically inclined with good dexterity - able to use both hand and power tools
  • Able to quality check finished product and send unsatisfactory items to rework
  • Proven experience with safe production practices
  • Stable work history
  • Basic math required for computing quantities and simple addition and subtraction for counting parts
  • Requires excellent manual dexterity, ability to work with small components and hand tools, and a keen eye for detail and quality
  • Must be able to read and follow detailed manufacturing instructions

Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred
  • Technical Certificate and/or LEAP or CTE Program Completion preferred
